Bird Mechanism

One of my Engineering II projects was just "make a mechanism out of 1/4 inch plywood," so I decided to make a bird wing mechanism. I planned everything out in Onshape and used an assembly to animate the motion. This was my first time animating anything in CAD, but it was really helpful in figuring out the right proportions for the linkages to the get the kind of motion I wanted. I originally wanted to make it rubber band powered, but there was too much friction in the wood and not enough torque from the rubber band to actually make that part function.
