Crochet Sweaters

Two sweaters I crocheted two years apart. The pink cardigan was my first crocheted garment, and I made it out of many many crocheted squares that I sewed together. I don't love how stiff and puffy it turned out, and I've since learned I could have blocked it to make the shape a little nicer. The black shrug is actually knit and crocheted. I decided I didn't love the edge of crochet ribbing, so the cuffs and collar are knitted. The base of the shrug was essentially just a big rectangle with a square hole for the neck, but that ended up tugging the collar a little oddly. I did block the collar to get it to be a more round shape, but if I were to make something like that again I would try to make the neck hole more rounded in the first place.
