For my friend's birthday I decided to try my hand at fabric paint and turn one of our running jokes (that she was a "certified Mariokart chump") into a tote bag. I laser cut paper stencils and used them to layer fabric paint. I cut little stars at consistent points in the corners to help me line up the stencils properly.
