A list of my design values I created for my engineering III class!

Good design should have a timeless aesthetic appeal.
There is no one "correct" aesthetic. Stylistic opinions will vary, the important piece is ensuring those styles are lasting.
Fast moving trends are not good design.
A designer's job is to make convenient, lasting products.
Technology should solve solve issues efficiency.
Technology should not solve problems of creativity.
Good design is durable.
Designers should be mindful of the impacts of their designs, including the end of life stage of the product.
Design should build upon the findings of the past, but never be tied down to the way things have always been done.
